NXT GP Kart School
After the success of last winter, we are also organizing the national NXT GP Kart School this winter. Through the NXT GP kart school, we prepare our participants for their next step in their still short racing career. Over five extensive training days, our drivers learn from our many instructors everything they need to know about ideal lines, overtaking, defending, collaborating, starting, and of course, driving in the rain. Additionally, we will also delve into the theory behind karting. And all of this with the most important ingredient: Fun!
There will also be several clinics for parents on each course day where experienced karting parents share their knowledge about tuning and maintaining your kart.
Of course, it is possible to participate with your own kart, but if you do not have your own kart, that is no problem! We also provide various ready-to-race karts that can be rented throughout the entire course.
The kart school is available for:

- Beginning talents who want to prepare for their first season
- Race drivers who want to become even better

NXT GP Winter Kart School 2025-2026:
The NXT GP Kart School starts at the challenging kart track of Dankern, just over the border in Germany near Emmen. After this, we will organize more course days in December, January, and February at various kart tracks. The course will conclude with an exam day where all successful participants will receive a certificate and be ready for the NXT GP season.
The cost per lesson will be 85 euros per day. This includes the track rental for the entire day and full-day instruction. Costs for a rental kart (if desired) will be added to this. Each day will feature 5 to 7 sessions. Each session consists of 15 to 20 minutes of track time. Additionally, all children will have 15 minutes of theory preparation for the next session, 15 minutes before the start of the sessions on the track.
It is also possible to train independently for the entire day for 40 euros.

Lesson 1: Sunday, November 23: Emslandring Dankern (Germany)*
Lesson 2: Sunday, December 14: Adventure Eefde
Lesson 3: Saturday, January 3: Kartcenter Emsbüren
Lesson 4: Sunday, January 25: Kartcircuit Pottendijk Emmen
Lesson 5: Saturday, February 7: TT Junior Track Assen**
*On this day, only beginner drivers are allowed to participate. This lesson day coincides with a race day, so there is no room for a lesson block for existing race drivers or drivers who want to practice freely.
**Dates are not yet confirmed. Participating in the exam day is mandatory for all drivers under 18 who want to make their debut in the NXT GP Dutch Open in 2026 and have not previously raced in a national kart competition. They will take a theory exam and a practical exam on this day. Participants who obtained a KNAF license in 2024 or 2025 but have no race experience do not need to take the exam.
