Seven weekends a year, the NXT GP is on the agenda. The most fun Grand Prix in the country. With more than 150 karts, two layouts, and four races, these days guarantee an absolute kart party.
About us
Six years ago, we began our adventure as organizers of kart races. The kart track in Texel was the stage for the first NXT GP race. The idea behind organizing this race was to create a weekend where fun and togetherness were the priority, and there was no pressure on performance from parents and teams. Just a nice weekend of racing with friendly, like-minded people. It turned out to be a successful formula right away.
During these six years, we grew as an organization from one event per year, to two, to three, and to a complete championship. This last step was not always easy for us. But despite setbacks, we continued to believe in our vision and our drivers stood by us.
Now, six years later, the NXT GP has become a staple in Dutch karting. With an average of 175 drivers per event and 220 unique drivers per year, drivers from all over the Netherlands find us. More and more drivers are also stepping in from outside the national borders. The successful formula? Still prioritizing fun and togetherness!
