Mini 2-stroke 60cc
Mini 2-stroke 60cc
Back in the NXT GP is the Mini 2-Stroke 60cc class. The iconic 60cc engine will be racing again at our events starting in 2025. This Open 60cc class, where all types of 60cc engines are allowed, offers all 60cc riders the opportunity to gain more racing experience.
Additionally, starting in 2026, there will also be a ranking for lottery engines from the organization. This successful concept has been a success in national karting for years and will be active within the NXT GP Dutch Open starting in 2026. Racing will be done with identical, fully sealed TM3 engines. These engines will be assigned to participants in this class through a lottery system. This way, an engine is fairly drawn for a participant. Participants racing with a lottery engine will compete not only for their own ranking but also for the overall (Open) ranking. This gives you a double chance at trophies!
Especially for all newcomers in karting, there is a separate Rookie ranking within this Mini 2-Stroke 60cc class. These Rookie participants will compete for both the overall (Open) ranking and the Rookie podium.
The interest for 2026 is high, and therefore we expect a starting field of 14-18 karts per race. Note, the maximum is 18, so be quick, as full = full!
